Garrison Dance Department

Garrison Dance Department (GDD) is a vibrant, student-centered program at Garrison School for the Arts that cultivates creativity, discipline, confidence, and artistic excellence through dance. Our department serves dancers from kindergarten through eighth grade, providing high-quality instruction in a supportive, inspiring environment where students grow both as artists and individuals.
GDD is committed to celebrating culture, storytelling, and self-expression through movement while instilling strong technique, teamwork, and leadership skills. Our dancers participate in performances, productions, field experiences, and community events that enrich their education and deepen their connection to the arts.
The Garrison Dance Department Store supports our dancers and program through fundraising initiatives, including calendars, apparel, and special items featuring our students and school community. Proceeds from the store directly benefit the department by helping fund costumes, props, production needs, field trips, and performance opportunities—ensuring our dancers have the resources they need to shine on and off the stage.
